You have to set the fail safe value in your TX to suit the A2

Needs to be -100 on the radio.

But anyway, it doesn't care about throttle anyway.  It won't re initialise anyway, so throttle position is unimportant

so does that mean their is no need to set the fail safe for the throttle position on the a2 ,unlike its little brothers like the naza

Don't need to for any naza. It's a good idea, but not necessary. With a 0-100 throttle curve, put your stick at the bottom and set the failsafe.

Hi there,
This interests me too. I have only recently bought an A2 and am use to the Wookong setup. In the Wookong failsafe setup you would take your mode channel to say 45% and set that in the failsafe section of your transmitter (I'm using a Futaba 14SG). That way, in the assistant software, when you turn the tx off you see the mode go into Failsafe. There is no instructions in the A2 literature or the videos to do that. What has everyone else done?
Blade 400 - 401b, HS-65HB\'s, 3AUBEC, DIYRC "Mini Flash", TRex 500 Skids
TRex 600e - CF Version, 600XL, 9451\'s, GY401/9254, 6A BEC, TT

Fails safe is set via your control mode channel. Mine is Ch7 on my 14SG.
Plug your laptop in and setup your flight mode switch. Man/Atti/GPS or Atti/Atti/GPS. What ever you prefer. You will notice on the RX bar (pc software) that there is fail safe zone between the mode zones. Setup up your Fail safe for CH7 in your TX to get the RX bar to indicate Fail safe. You can do this by playing with end point adjustment to find value. Mine was -40. Enter this in the Fail safe menu. Make sure you put end points back to normal.
Test by turning off TX you will se RX bar indicate Fail Safe. Re-test with flight mode switch in every position to be sure.

Fail safe can also be activated by Go-Home switch. There is also options for Failsafe Methods. See software.

Cheers Craig.

This is incorrect. Please read above for correct use of fail safe with A2 controller.
