Want some more security for the gyro on your Aeolus 50??
Haydn has the answer.

Pre-production model shown, I'm sure the BlingKing will snazz them up a little.  ;)

Yep it's definitely heavy duty at the moment.  :)
2mm will be plenty.

It looks kind of too close to where the starter shaft goes for ham fisted types. Can it be mounted more forward?

He has not moved where he has placed the gyro, only added a strapping mount.

Most of us Aeolus owners mount there gyro up the top there.

Haydn, I want one of these mate. I will contact you :)

Just two side plates.

Its just to place a strap over the top to secure the gyro.

You can put a rod across the back horizontally to protect the gyro from the starter shaft :)

Yep as Mark said it's just 2 plates utilising the KISS principle.  (Keep It Simple Stupid)

Simple & effective.

No need for that.  If you're that clumsy I'd be more concerned about the 1300+mm of carbon blade spinning @ >2000 rpm.
