Beater recommendations.
« on: October 14, 2017, 04:01:48 PM »
Looking to start a bit of a conversation on recommendations for a small beater slash park flyer.
Err, I mean back yard heli, because I already know I shouldn't be flying in parks
I was thinking maybe a Goblin 280 Fireball or a Oxy3, maybe a Gaui X2.
What else do you recommend.
Looking to get something thats fun to fly and cheap to crash.
I would like to hear from anyone who has got or had one of these little helis.
The good, the bad, the what ever opinion you might have.

Cheers.
The only thing I can smack is the ground.

I haven't had any experience with these but from the people I've spoken to the Oxy flys really well. I have a 180CFX myself but I don't fly it very often and the parts price of Blades tend to be high.

Thanks for the input guys, the Oxy was one of the first I’ve looked at but I can’t find one to buy here in Oz.
I’d like to buy from a local supplier and the $60 freight from the states is a bit of a deal breaker.
Anyone know where I might get one from.
