Wow this looks fantastic! For a minute (looking at the smaller photos) I thought I was looking at what you wanted it to look like, not the actual heli! Amazing work

Was awesome to watch this amazing heli flying around the field. You have done a fantastic job of putting it together. You should be incredibly proud of how it has turned out.

Cheers
MickeyZ

I forgot to mention to everyone you took these great photos. Very hard to get a decent shot of your own model. Thanks heaps eh.

Another update. Ever since completion I have been wanting to be able to tow an aussie flag below it like you see on special occasions and being able to eject a couple of paratroopers out...... Finally had some time before Tin Can Bay and I am glad to say, Yay it works!

Have the aux functions set up on another seperate receiver and Tx which is generally operated by my co pilot (8yr old son). There is generally a lot going on so I am happy to pass on these duties.

This functions can:
Close and release the belly hook for the wire rope
Open and close the LH rear door
Kick out my two troopers

Flying with the Flag is very hard to make look good. It exaggerates every little roll, pitch or speed change. Key is very slow ( which is hard enough in itself) and flat consistent turns and the least amount of wind as possible.

Yeah a fast roper was what I was hoping but would be a bit beyond me I reckon.

Unfortunately not this year but I have worded up the wife for next year. Is a 15hr drive for me and I have already been away (1700 km return ave) 4 times this year for the hobby so I am pushing my luck.

BUT if anyone who lives in the brissy area and is keen to see it, I will be at the SAAMBR field for the weekend 24th of Sept for the Warbirds weekend.

To my satisfaction this heli is bit of a crowd favorite especially when it is the only heli amoungst the planks. :headbang:
