The Fusion 50 it is. I mentioned it a few posts up.  i've managed to get one side of the shield off but unfort. its the opposite side of where the glue entered and i can't seem to free the bearing race.  Still trying to free up the other side "C" clip (and then shield removal).  I'm goingi to try and force it soon and see how i go. Once i break the initial glued affect i may be right.  Failing that.. i'll possibly run it glued for now and just let it atually rotate within the inner bearing race.  Such a small thing but so annoying!  Its the "Ball Bearing Flanged" 5 ID x 10 OD x 4 that goes into the frames, Part No. R90N407.

EDIT:  ok i think the crisis has been averted! Managed to free up the bearings and race.  Its not perfect but it does mostly roll smoothly.  I'll just put the best part  mid-way as the shaft that goes through doesnt do full turns anyway so i should be right for now! I'll just keep a close eye on it and try and find a bearing to replace it with.   :)

Hoffy, try some drops of acetone into the bearing.  this should dissolve the CA and keep working the bearing adding more acetone as required.  flush out with metho once done and re-lube the bearing.

hi nige69,  yup. i tried to make do. unfort. i only had metho on hand but with a bit of elbow grase and plenty of time, i managed to free it up enough to do for now. Should work ok as at the end of the day its only a beaering thats going to have a cycle of 45-50 degrees so its not super critical (thankfully).    I will try some acetone with this 406 adhesive and see how that goes for future reference! cheers

Still flying my Fusion50. On the bench ATM as I had a mishap at 400ft. Still got enough bits to keep it running for a fair while. Got my old flybar version as well if I need to rob parts.

Love the way they fly and the overall quality of design. Got a fleet of Goblins too so they are copping a flogging while the Fusion is in the shop.

They fly great but the supply of parts make them painful to own, my fusion has been raped of its electronics and is collecting dust.

Nearly a year after the first post, so who still has their F50 still flying?
Mines done another 600+ flights since this thread started, still going well (touch wood) I put a set of new bearing in the motor, head & swash, plus had to raid the NIB tail rotor as the old one was worn out.

Im still flying my Velocity 50 and 90.  My son loves it when I let him fly the 50 as it has so much power compared to his old Compass Knight with "past-it" batteries.

I still fly a Fusion 50.  I only got around to building it in mid December 2014-Jan 2015.  unfort the wind is crazy lately combined with not having the time i rarely get a fly at all and my skills are actually going backwards because of this (welcome to the last 4 years!).  But the Fusion rocks and i haven't stoved it yet so she's still a go!

Funnily enough still have my Fusion 50 and Vel 90, the Vel 90 has a never released boom assembly block and new Alloy tail assembly. I need to reassemble them after moving to the sunny coast.
